By accessing or using Clipry AI ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Clipry AI lets you paste a URL, text, or file and receive an AI-generated summary, transcript, or analysis. The Service is provided on an "as-is" basis and may be updated, changed, or discontinued at any time.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service (or the minimum digital age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher). By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Accounts
Some features require an account, which you may create by signing in with a supported third-party provider. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any law or the rights of others;
- Submit content you do not have the right to submit, including copyrighted material you do not own or have license to analyze;
- Generate or distribute harmful, abusive, hateful, defamatory, or sexually explicit content involving minors;
- Attempt to bypass usage limits, scrape the Service, or reverse-engineer its AI outputs for competitive purposes;
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without written permission;
- Introduce malware, viruses, or otherwise interfere with the Service or other users.
5. AI Outputs
The Service produces AI-generated content. AI can make mistakes, misinterpret sources, or produce inaccurate summaries. You should independently verify anything important. We are not liable for decisions you make based on AI outputs.
6. Content You Submit
You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process, store, and transmit that content solely to provide and improve the Service (including sending it to AI providers to generate analyses).
7. Third-Party Links, Ads, and Affiliates
The Service displays links to third-party websites. Some outbound links are affiliate links — if you click one and complete a purchase, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Clicking an outbound link may pass through a short interstitial page that may contain an advertisement. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or policies of third-party sites.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its code, design, logos, and branding, is owned by Clipry or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service without permission.
9. Fees and Paid Tiers
Core features of the Service are free. Certain advanced features may require a paid subscription. Fees, if any, will be disclosed before you are charged. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, MERCHANTABILITY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT AI OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLIPRY AI AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Clipry AI and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
